BEES DON’T MAKE LEMONADE
‘Bees don’t make lemonade’ was Round Lemon's first in-person project, consisting of a multitude of events such as drop-in creative activities, an exhibition, art market, open mic night, and a sticker swap. We are proud to have offered international and local artists the chance to display and sell their work, as well as perform and connect with other artists. Featuring the works of over 40 artists, the exhibition took place in the kitchen and toilets of Moseley Hive (a former Pizza Express transformed into a community-owned initiative) with the purpose of displaying art in unconventional spaces, questioning what a gallery space could look like. We would like to thank all the artists and creatives, as well as everyone who engaged in our activities for making our launch event possible.
